The Philippines

The Philippines is a vast archipelago composed of 7,107 islands. The Filipino culture is an array of different cultures and traditions, some influenced by foreign conquerors of the past and some uniquely Filipino.
This ultimately boils down to the questions…What is the Philippines?…Who are the Filipinos?…and…If I dare go to this land, what awaits me there?
In this country, there is so much to experience. Every place has a personality of its own. What separates one from the other is the architecture of its land and the colors beneath its ocean, the warmth of the people and the richness of their culture, the sumptuous and sometimes “interesting” cuisine and delicacies and the adrenalin rush from each and every adventure.
I love the Philippines. It is a shame that very few people, including most Filipinos, have witnessed its beauty…the place, the people, the food, the adventure…I am writing this blog to give a virtual tour of this land and give my readers a glimpse of my Philippines the way I see it and the way I experience it.
